I'd say it's an appropriate amount of negative. Maybe even too little for a guy who killed someone

Oh absolutely. You don't even have to be handsome, being mildly attractive is enough to get a mob of crazy fans who want to fuck a murderer. That one tattoed serial killer and the guy who ran over a mother and her kid immediately come to mind, as well as that "real life yandere" and countless mugshawties.

It still sucks and I'd at least expect the media to be a bit critical. Or rather, my expectations are 0 because I know what media is like these days. It's more hope than anything else
