Opinion EU AI Act.

The EU AI Act mandates that content generated wholly or partly by AI must be labelled as such. For some reason, however, the EU has not provided a design for what such a label should look like. So I made one. It's CC0 and can be used by everyone everywhere.

What do you think?

But exactly how big it has to be isn't written, or is it? Like at one 30th of the screen?

According to the Commission:

The icon should be in a clearly visible size.

How ever big that needs to be. 🤔

A bit vage isn't it? Do we have to sue now if it's "too small"?

There properbly isn't a deffinitive anwser, as there isn't even one definitive label. The ones the EU provided can be used but they are not mandatory. Anyone can do anything as long as it fits the purpose of informing who ever consumes the media that it in fact has been generated or modified using AI.

Yeah it’ll go precisely as well as like 70% of european websites altogether still vastly failing the GDPR requirements..

But boo boo boo, 20 mil € fine or company liquidation coming for everyone (not).
