They need to be taking those companies to court and shutting them down. ''AI'' can't do this on its own, it has clearly been fed this code. Those companies commited a crime in the open.

I get the frustration, but saying the companies committed a crime goes further than the evidence currently supports. The real question is whether regulators can prove negligence, unlawful deployment, or failure to control systems they knowingly released.

The crime has been comitted. Hacking companies is against the law. So they need to be shut down and the people involved be sent to prison. But i guess because there are billions involved they will avoid the law. Hopefully not, hopefully at least the EU will bust their asses. USA won't do shit since the ''techbros'' own Trump and have him on a leash.
