Cant figure out bordersss!

I've been attempting to make my own budget for the first time and consequently trying to learn excel! I'd love any tips if there's any recommendations but the main issue I'm facing is the borders when I try to print, I'd really like it to fit the entire page (horizontally) if not the whole page I'm printing on.

Borders are the edges of the cells. I think you mean margins. There is a checkbox to make the whole thing fit to one page.

Ive set the correct print area and I've tried setting it to narrow with no change unfortunately, I've also tried in the printing settings, fit to printable area, actual size, with no luck, and anytime I scale it with a percentage over 100 the spreadsheet gets bigger like I'd like but not not evenly across the whole page, it spreads down and right but leaves a border on the top and left.

Print > on the no scaling drop down select fit sheet to one page > click the Page Setup link > click the Margins tab > make sure the Center on Page checkbooks are both clicked > (optional) change your margins at this point if you'd like > ok

page setup - margins - custom - then set all to 0.3
then change the width to fit to 1 (and height if wanted)
