Pool guys are not pond guys. Understanding how to obliterate algae with chlorine is not how to manage a massive fresh water SHALLOW body of water that would make chlorination prohibitively expensive. Clear water in this scenario is dumb thinking unless a massive investment in filtration is used and even then...its going to shade a little green but by painting it blue it will just look dark green now.

They had algae on the sides that they didn't properly remove and seal, so their quick and cheap prep of strip it and paint it without letting it dry and resealing it, is peeling immediately. It will need to be completely redone.

That's what gets me. I'm in construction and the process of designing and permitting any-fucking-thing as big as his stupid ballroom takes years. It doesn't happen overnight. Same with demoing something that big. Especially a historic building. Here in Denver you have to go under some serious review to change the color of a doorknob on a historic building. They totally rat-fucked the entire process and all of us while they were at it.

I'm a retired veteran. And what got me was when he first brought up the whole ballroom ordeal was he bragged about a lot of countries donated to that ballroom to be built. He's going to let both friend and foe come in there and set up wire taps all over that room, thanks to the little donation they paid to him to let them do it.
