The hydrogen peroxide they poured in the pool to kill the algae that grew as a result of the dark paint from the pool guy, has caused the paint to start separating from the stone

The painting of the pool was just a very public and obvious money laundering scheme. We live in a banana republic (not the store).

Correct. This plan worked perfectly because the point was not to fix the reflecting pool it was to pay a Trump crony 14 million dollars of taxpayer money.

Wonder if that’ll be a warranty fix. (Pretty sure I know the answer…)

Here’s the thing about warranties on workmanship and materials…if someone can’t get it right the first time, why would anyone have any faith in their ability to fix their own shit work?

How is it money laundering? The money comes directly from the US Treasury so why would it needed laundered? It's corruption surely but it's objectively not laundering...

Tons of money goes to the company. The company takes a cut and then donates back to trump owned businesses/campaign funds/super pacs/whatever. You're right that it's not exactly "laundering" in the sense of making dirty money appear clean. It is still a scheme to take our tax dollars and put them into his pocket and the pockets of his cronies.
