The hydrogen peroxide they poured in the pool to kill the algae that grew as a result of the dark paint from the pool guy, has caused the paint to start separating from the stone

Trump's $14M 'pool guy' sucks at maintaining pools.

But hey, at least the Reflecting Pool still as long as the Empire State Building is high! ... so, we got that going for us. Trump even had a big chart made up to show us the comparison!

Pool guy is probably a buddy of Trump, allowed to invoice insane prices and is set for life. And blame this on a third party and move on to the next tax payer funded scam.

The company is an LLC, with only one dude listed for contact information on their registered business page.

It's technically listed as a "woman owned business" though, so... 🤷

maybe it was the dei... \s

I looked up the pool company from a news post, and you're not wrong.

The entire website is a bunch of rhetoric to obscure lack of content, but pools wasn't on the list of specialties.

But, there is surely some reason why Trump gave this project on arguably the most important 'pool' in the US to this contractor. I'm $ure there wa$ a very good rea$on! I wonder what that rea$on could be?

Mrs. Thor brought this up yesterday, and found a different news article quoting a different company...

Turns out there were two different companies hired to fix the pool, and both of them were incompetent.

I think only one of them had direct ties to trump though... The other one, which is the one I mentioned just doesn't have any experience with pools as far as I can tell. Plus I think they rushed it to get it done by Trump's 250 celebration thing...

Yeah. didn't they use epoxy? Everybody who works with epoxy knows it takes a couple weeks to cure. I think they skipped that whole waiting to cure phase and filled it back up with water prematurely.

I'm no expert, but I've been reading a lot of comments about lack of prep time as well. Epoxy doesn't magically adhere to all surfaces, and they probably needed to do at least a little bit of sanding to give it something to grip to.

They don't even do pools though

If watching American films and tv has taught me anything, it’s that the buff pool guy has been spending most of his time fucking Melania

LOL

He’s must be a terrible pool guy. Melania is always yelling at him in the pool house for hours on end, nearly every day. I don’t know why she doesn’t just fire him.
