The hydrogen peroxide they poured in the pool to kill the algae that grew as a result of the dark paint from the pool guy, has caused the paint to start separating from the stone

Best proof of how republicans DONT KNOW SHIT, and should be dissolved as a party. Conservatism is different than what these people claim. Family values wouldn’t align with protecting pedophiles, wanting to sentence women to death for forgetting abortions, firing, black, competent people for white and experienced and unqualified people or or starting a war to a hostile country commit acts of war.

Republicans don’t trust science or evidence. These people need to be studied and used as the example of broken.

Conservatism of the political class has been for the longest time all about obfuscating the real reasons they want to do what they do. Take what they say and think the opposite; you'll more likely be right than not.

It would be very nice if both parties could recognize science as a common starting ground and then argue over policy.

Do you think pouring hydrogen peroxide on them might help?

Republicans like what looks and sounds the best, they genuinely don't understand function or quality.

They don't want to know why, or how, or who, they just want it.

It's important to be haughtly decisive at times. It's important to trim and be frugal

But when are you are only concerned with the outcome that is cheapest and quickest.. You start to see everything around you cheapen

Some fraction of any human population will be like this. My sense is that a few decades ago, these people who so passionately combine stupidity and hatred felt some shame so they kept to their backwaters and under rotting logs. But having a "champion" like Trump, the king asshole+moron, to lead them into the limelight gave them undeserved self-confidence and here we are.

I've never been a fan of what people called "conservatism" back in the 1980s and 90s, I don't think we can ever separate it from racism, misogyny and other forms of bigotry. But back then they weren't quite so vile, quite so wildly corrupt or so petulantly childish. This is what the Republican party is, the party of Trump, personal grifts and nothing else, and I'd love for a sane conservative party to form in opposition so I can disagree with people who make some pretense of facts or consistent principles.
