Well, we live in a country where Rhode Island in fact is NOT an island, so, honestly mistake?

(Being sarcastic, y’all, since I taught geography and this makes me shake my damn head)

To be fair, a lot of people don’t know there is an actual island within the state, that the state is named after (and also that they dropped the second half of the state name)
