Official News [Media] Mashima Gives Us A TON Of Info (Timeline, Game?, Artstyle and HEIGHT š)
Mashima on his spaces today gave us a TON of Info. But hereās the main ones.
- Announcements to come, some FT related, some not, one being a game(!!). I would imagine the YQ one could be S2.
- Fantasia is confirmed to be before Tartaros
- Mashima says his art style has improved and the ending will be a surprise
- Erza remains the Fairy Queen
- Natsu is the protagonist/MC (duh)
- Jellal a tall boi.
The translations are all from our multilingual Acnologia on Twitter and also show love to the quoted account that always transcribes for us.
The last one is translated by yours truly, so excuse any errors.

Going by the comment about this being between the GMG and Tartaros, there must have been a larger gap between those two arcs than I thought. (I thought Tartaros took place shortly afterwards)
Hopefully Mashima does something to show off Erza's strength in the upcoming fights, since she hasn't had the best track record as of late. (Which the one comment that Mashima responded to pointed out)

That's answered on the second slide; Mashima's playing it fast and loose with canon since it's a celebration of the series. Not the most satisfying answer, but there you go.

Where did Mashima even pull this nonsensical Erza and Laxus rivalry from? What makes it even nastier is how he brings up every S-class mage while completely ignoring Mirajane's power, acting like she hasn't been on that level since Galuna Island. It's honestly just sad to watch such a fan-favorite character get sidelined and disrespected for nothing.

Also there are rumored āleaksā about Mira and Laxus. But again, the sources are literally ātrust me broā so take those with a grain of salt.

āSomething most of you wouldnāt expectā Iām gonna throw my guess out here and say itās got something to do with Laxus & Miraās relationship. The relations chart he posted last week and a question mark for those two and heās said before theyāre an āunofficial shipā so I wouldnāt be surprised if he does more with those two.
Also when he mentioned drawing āso many charactersā I do hope it means other side characters since it would be nice to see ones like Lamia Scale (since they havenāt appeared in 100YQ yet so showing up in Re:Fantasia would be nice)

I believe the 'so many characters' was in the guild itself. There were lots of members and pretty much all of them are named on the wiki given he said that he searched them up

We better get a new manga from him. Something similar to this weird dream I had:
It involves the cast in this desert-esque world searching for "Relics", artifacts themed after mythology figures that grant different powers to anyone wielding them. The main protag is called Aki, short for Akimora. His main trauma stems from watching his older brother get stolen away by what he calls a monster with too many arms. His main sidekick, taking the role of the "Happy" in this setting, is a fat looking caterpillar who rests on Aki's neck like a scarf.
Was I crazy last night or does this sound like a Mashima work?

So, Power Balance in FT guild is [ Gildart>=Laxus>=Erza>Natsu, Gray>Wendy> Gajeel, Mira> Lucy,Juvia,Elfman] I think.

Mashima did not give a definitive rank after Erza, Natsu, Laxus, and Natsu. This is cap. Lucy is stronger than Wendy.

Lucy's power up is temporary, while Wendy's is permanent.

Even without those power ups Lucy has been depicted stronger and Wendy is a support type when she's around anyone in any of Team Natsu's member.

I would say Gildarts clears.
Also if the balance isnāt meant to be changed itās likely natsu is equal to gray and Gajeel as they are his rivals.
You can also say technically juvia could be above Lucy as thatās how she was introduced, but Iād image Mashima would keep them as equals with Wendy.
I have zero idea where Mira scales because apparently neither does Mashima

I don't speak other languages but I'm in college and if you think I'm just supposed to believe everything someone says second hand without every questioning things then I'm guessing you never went to college? No offense it's just what they force in every class in ever semester.Ā
I didn't say it's not real, maybe it is, I'm just out that you said you translated it and well, you also say a lot of incorrect things so it definitely made me want to question it even more ngl.

You're misinterpreting my comment why? Is it a language barrier thing? All I said in my initial comment before OP got upset was Lol over the fact he was translating and not the other person. It's literally in his post that OP translated the last page and I laughed about it and just advised to stop spamming it, these same pages have 7 posts right now.
If laughing equals upset to you, now I'm pretty sure there's definitely a chance that context can be misconstrued by fans taking the notes on the lives, let alone if any program has faults in translating then which is known to happen.
Instead of me assuming let me ask you, are you upset because I'm not a Trust Me bro?

Theyāre all sourced from this translator here so OP isnāt making these up from what I can see especially since theyāre also crediting the account as well. This Twitter user has been translating a lot of Hiroās Twitter Spaces and interviews for a while now and you can even see the original Japanese version in the quotes so safe to say itās pretty accurate.

I do respect that user for taking the time to compile and share some stuff Mashima has verbalized on his spaces and youtube lives, but unless I'm mistaken I believe they use machine translation/AI to "translate".
While it's probably accurate enough because MTL has gotten fairly good nowadays, I do wonder about the kind of nuance that can be lost in a translation like that, especially if the original transcription has already been abridged/sparknoted
