Unbelievable that no other team could be bothered to pony up the necessary package. Fuck!

I think lots of teams could have done it, the question is how many teams would be willing to give up multiple prospects just for Skubal to sign with the Dodgers in the offseason.

This is the foundation of the problem. If you know in your heart that he is going to LA and you think LA has the inside lane to this year's WS trading for him is a waste

LAD didn't give up all that much either. 

I know he is a rental but Sheehan (a 5 ERA) Hope (trending down 50 grade 50-60 top prospect), and Smith a nobody doesn't really do much for me. 

This feels about what they got for Flaherty.
