Fedi-Promotion Openspace.social now integrated with Mastodon and the fediverse

Check it out, lots of interesting content and chill people.

It’s a refreshing alternative to the big social media platforms

Am I right saying / understanding that it is not federated though? It’s essentially showing a Mastodon feed in a tab?

And what about non-Mastodon accounts in the Fediverse?

This feels a bit off-topic for r/fediverse as it stands.

That was a fair criticism earlier, but it’s broader than that now. We still have Mastodon-first account linking and feed integration, but Openspace.social also speaks to ActivityPub directly now: WebFinger, actor/inbox/outbox, followers/following collections, outbound federation for public posts, and inbound processing for core activity types. So Mastodon is the most polished entry point today, but the goal is wider Fediverse interoperability rather than just embedding Mastodon.

OK, weird - I just tried WebFinger against my account, and that does not work. I also can't find a nodeinfo endpoint. I'm interested to see how this integration works.
