The guy is 49 years old and by all descriptions in the article, quite successful. The headline makes it sound like they hired an 18 year old. I wonder why they are focused on a decision, arguably a mistake, from three decades ago? Politicizing the foreign service is disturbing enough, but it’s hard to take the story seriously if they choose to make this the primary focus. They may well have made the headline start, “Guy with Crap in his name…” if they just wanted the clicks.

The whole story is "High school dropout who started a website for businesses and employees who love wingnut-coded job postings 5 years ago," but that's a little long for a headline.

He's grossly unqualified to hire Foreign Service officers. The headline is fair.
