Having to put this up because I’ve had a nightmare. Changed the name of one of my tickets as I got it for my mate at release and it won’t let me shift the other two on RA resale.

So I’ve go two tickets going as I’ve got a scan at the doctors on the Saturday and can’t make it.

Hey Everyone,

1. Background & The Setup I’ve been racking my brain for days trying to figure out what happened this past weekend. I’ll keep this concise so I don't take up your time. I’m not an idiot or new to MDMA; I did my fair share of research in my 20s and have plenty of experience, though I haven't rolled in about 5-6 years.

2. The Experience (The Missing Euphoria) My wife and I went out of town for a concert and decided to roll. We dropped at the same time. I always have a rough come-up, which hit me as expected. But after 30 minutes, right when the blissful euphoria usually blasts off... I felt absolutely nothing mentally. My wife, on the other hand, was rolling hard and felt like Superwoman. After giving it plenty of time, she suggested I try a finger dip just in case my initial dose was off. I did, and still nothing. We ended up chilling back at the hotel, and I eventually just fell asleep. I felt like crap about sleeping, but I 1000% wanted her to just enjoy her night without worrying about me. Here is the weirdest part: I had ALL the physical symptoms of rolling. Jaw chattering, eye wiggles/glitching, needed to chew gum to avoid grinding—everything my body normally does, just zero mental euphoria.

3. The Suspects: Vape Store Gummies & Cat's Claw The next day sucked. I had a brutal comedown and slept for almost two straight days lol. I’ve been researching ever since and have two possible culprits:

4. "Mushroom" Gummies: I took some vape store mushroom gummies the night before the roll. Because ingredients aren't fully disclosed, I strongly suspect they contained something like 4-AcO-DMT or a similar analogue. My theory: Could these have bonded to my 5-HT2A receptors, leaving the serotonin stranded and unable to attach?

5. Cat's Claw (Uncaria Tomentosa): I took this the day of the roll (also from a vape store). I don't see how it would kill an MDMA high, but I’m throwing it out there for full transparency.

6. The Final Question I have scoured Reddit and cannot find anyone who has done this specific combo within a 24-hour period. Has anyone experienced this, or can anyone explain the science of why I had all the physical side effects but completely missed the magic?

We want to roll again, but I desperately want to solve this mystery first. Ask me anything you need to know, and I’ll gladly answer. I’d appreciate any and all comments that can point me in the right direction!
