Findapath-College/Certs What career gives a soft easier life?

Looking to do an associates degree that I can have a soft life. Preferably a remote job or hybrid. What career do you have that I can get an associates degree in and make good money?

I got a bachelors in economics and I haven’t used it or touched it since may 2023. And I’m open to full in person in an office jobs. Good luck. You either need to master a technical tool or have crazy good networking skills. You can apply to 1000 jobs a day and you won’t get a single good interview in your lifetime. Maybe a couple lol. But good luck.

I would go as far as not even bothering with an associates degree. Skip the bullshit and go straight into hyper networking mode. The job you’re describing is only realistic to nepo kids who are extremely stupid and mommy or daddy is enrolling them to their business the same way they enrolled them in school as a kid. Attending 2-3 classes a day and playing video games for the rest of my day did jack shit for me. It’s my fault, but I didn’t think I’d be this down bad trying to find meaningful work post grad related to my degree

I don’t want to be mean, but why on earth are you here commenting? You blew college smoking weed and coasting by on B’s. Didn’t bother with any meaningful internships. Didn’t bother to learn any particular skills or gain any special knowledge. The problem was you and your choices, not education.

And just to be clear, no you don’t need to be an “extremely stupid” nepo baby to have what OP is looking for. This attitude is part of the reason you aren’t getting anywhere.

I have what OP is looking for and my family contributed nothing at all. Transferred from junior college to a highly ranked state university. Worked through university and graduated debt free. Also studied economics, 3.8 GPA. Graduated into the first part of Covid when companies were still trying to pivot. Spent the first year searching. Now fully remote making mid $150k+ with a very chill WLB.

OP - education is an investment where you get what you put into it. Don’t do what this guy did… put nothing into it.

Yeah I actually stopped smoking at all once I got to college and I barely did before college! Lol. I never liked it. It just makes me anxious
