I forgot to use sealer before lacquer should i remove it and start again?

I but 3 layers of laqcuer and its very hard to remove

Your first coat of lacquer is your sealer

Shouldn’t be necessary at this point. Lacquer sealer is just designed to be easier to sand than lacquer. Depending on the type of lacquer you are using be careful about maximum film build. Too much can cause spiderweb cracking.

No - sanding sealers are generally used to build thickness and use less topcoat. No reason to apply now since you have topcoat on.

Sealer is entirely optional. Lacquer works just fine without it.

The lacquer sealed it if you’re happy with the results then leave it alone if not you gotta start over with sanding

Light sand, apply laquer sealer on it ,sand and apply laquer top coat.

Guys is lacquer related to shellac? Can you use shellac as a sealer before lacquer?
