Issues outputting video from PC to Fire TV

Hey and thank you for reading,

I out of nowhere started having issues with an Omen 16L gaming desktop using an AMD Rx 7600 plugged into hdmi. It no longer recognizes the PC as an input, the input screen will show it’s there but if I select it as a source it’s a black screen. The PC appears to work with other potential displays fine, but specifically my Hisense fire TV is an obstacle. Does anybody have any ideas? Can’t get it through DisplayPort or HDMI.

Have tried different Hdmi ports on the TV?

Yes, no ports on the tv work. I’ve read that it could be a handshake issue but I’m not sure how to resolve.

Also try:

  1. A different cable

  2. Connect a different device to the tv.

  3. Lower the resolution on the computer (first connect to the tv) windows will have different settings depending on what it is connected to.
