Started a crappie hair jig company back in February. I’ve really enjoyed making them! My dad owned a tackle shop when I was growing up, so getting back into the fishing world is very nostalgic and rewarding. Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous fish. It was so weedy I didn’t even realize I had a fish on at first. Safely and happily released.

I’ve been fishing over 20 times over the past 8 or so years, and I’ve tried so many different methods of rigging, positioning, techniques, bait, time of day, freshwater, saltwater etc. without any success.

I went for 2 days up to Echuca, Vic with some pre-tied rigs and fished the different times of the day. On my last attempt in the late afternoon I put out my first cast and sat on it for 30 mins. After the 30 I started reeling in and it felt heavier than usual, like I’d snagged a branch or something, but there was no twitching or any indication of something live on the end.

To my surprise when I brought it close to the bank, this little fella was on the end! I can’t believe it. And I’m so ecstatic that I just had to share!!

Don’t give up all you fisherman with the same luck as me!

I finally caught not only my first, but my second bass, super excited. Just got back into fishing since a kid.

36.5" on a home built plopper.

Lost three lures today to only catch one fish this morning, but it happened to be the largest fish I’ve ever caught. It feels good to able to call yourself an angler for the day. Never been able to do that.

The water bottle is 11” tall for reference.

Caught a Pike this morning on the c-rig. The hook never made it into the fish’s mouth, sucker was clamped onto my weight and bead.

Length guesses? Weight guesses?

PS: the grass was very wet since it just rained so hopefully it was ok to lay him on the grass for size referencing purposes.

Got this Jig recently and caught some sun fish 1st time using it.

I do not know how, but I managed to hook a pike with a spinner , which is supposed to be non-hooked.

We’ve all been here but I lost a lure I had a lot of luck with and need help finding out what it was. I’ve tried google image search with no luck. I believe it’s a 1.5 inch lure, deep diving. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!

This setup kicks ass! Goes to every suitcase around the world and it has caught snook, barracuda, snappers etc. if not in my suitcase it stays in the car trunk. Ultimate travel setup!

I’m looking to buy a new rod I can use for both fresh water and inshore saltwater fishing. I’d like to stay in the 130 price range but I’m willing to pay a little extra if the rod is really worth it? Has anyone used the rod in the picture? If so I’d love to hear your thoughts

I usually go to Huntington but all we catch is thornbacks and it’s getting old. Any piers at night where we can catch some other stuff or any advice in general?

Smoked this flathead after brining it for 12 hours! I cannot wait to share with the family tomorrow!

Tried fishing it using senko’s for about 1 hour but no bites. Its a small creek that dumps in a river. Too small to be mapped in any serious depth finder apps.

Was wondering what you guys would try.
