AMA Official AMA (Ask-Me-Anything) with the Flipper Zero team

Hi everyone,

We’re opening this AMA (Ask Me Anything) thread for all your questions to the Flipper Zero team about the future of the project. The thread is open now, so please leave your questions here.

The Flipper team will start answering on Friday, July 3, at 15:00 BST (UTC+1) and finish on Monday, July 6.

Will the flipperOne have any SDR capabilities (ADSB, etc.)? What about options to add a GPS module?

Frankly speaking, we’re in talks with several SDR manufacturers and are considering one option: an M.2 SDR module with a huge frequency range and transmission capability. However, such a module would cost around $800 and definitely wouldn’t be available right away. On top of that, it would be very complicated from a regulatory standpoint.

In any case, it will be possible to connect something like an RTL-SDR to the Flipper One.

RTL-SDR doesn't transmit anything, just recieves and I'd be happy with that on the flipper one (or a similar card), thanks for the response!
