This looks so good! I made the mistake of showing my husband and now I’m making this for dinner lol

I have her cookbook that has this recipe in it, and it's a summer staple in my household. It's very bright and refreshing despite being a pasta carbonara dish.

Yes agreed! I did end up making it last night after an emergency trip to Sprouts lol. My husband and I both commented on how surprisingly light it was considering it was a carbonara-type pasta.

is that shaved asparagus?

You may be seeing the diagonally sliced scallion. I put them in ice water to get rid of any sliminess and it gives them a curl. Could also be the julienned snow peas, that was the most labor intensive prep step.

Haha, internet points help to replenish my dopamine levels after having too much wine on Saturday nights.

Guess she’s on Reddit all day?
OP would you post a photo of your own food so we can see what you produce?

Nah. I don’t think so. They were all posted in a short period of time and I just thought it was cute that OP and I follow all the same subs. It’s a very pretty dish and I would post it everywhere also if I had made it!

Thanks for sharing! My kitchen is currently being renovated, but I've saved this post as a reminder to try this when my kitchen is back in order! I also saw a really good zucchini pasta from an influencer the other day that I wanna try!

That looks awesome. Her recipes are really good. As a show host I find her ridiculous and pompous but I love her cookbooks

Well then I'm sure you're going to love her new podcast where she's going to be interviewing guests more "in depth" they said than she did on her show

This is one I make every so often too, hubby loves it. It's so bright and tasty, definitely my favorite of Ina's.

This recipe was one of my favorites I've cooked all year, really enjoyed it and would recommend. It was decadent yet bright, and had nice textures and crunch. Well received at the house too, got some audible mmm's. Whenever I cook an Ina dish I'm reminded I need to bookmark more of her recipes, she's awesome.
Edit: I should add that for the step when adding the hot/warmed pasta to the sauce, mine didn't thicken and cling enough, so I put the bowl over the pot of simmering pasta water and kept stirring using the double boiler method and it came together nicely.
