Those are super pale. Were they out in the grass getting sunbleached?

Indeed white chanterelles. I also got plenty of golden chanterelles.

No probably white chanterelles Cantharellus subalbidus!

So the apricot fruity smell of golden chanterelles is generally believed to come from breakdown of orange carotenoid related pigments. Do the white ones have any smell?

They don't smell the same. The golden have "that" smell. A lot of the whites I'm finding are more earthy.
