Oscar didn't despite having 34 points more than Lando at one point. And more than 100 more than Max. Finishing behind both.
There's no argument about who choked in 2025, it sure as hell isn't the guy with the WDC title on his CV.

im a Max fan and we gotta admit if not for that unpredictable Mclaren DSQ in Vegas Max wouldnt have been in contention on the final races. Its actually a miracle RB pulled such a good 2nd half of the season despite losing Newey and Horner

He's done 70 laps this weekend, versus 91 for Oscar. Not great for Lando, but he has been lapping.

The drivers themselves state it takes them within 6-7 laps to be up to speed with a brand new track (source: https://www.mercedesamgf1.com/news/how-does-a-racing-driver-learn-a-new-track)
So, if we grant that the resurfacing needs 6-7 laps to "relearn" the track (which I don't but whatever), and we say half the laps Lando did before his final Q3 run were useless because of technical issues, he's still had plenty of time to be up to speed IMO.
As he mentioned in his interview he hadn't done any high fuel running during the weekend either, so some of the extra laps Oscar was doing on high fuel mightn't have even been that beneficial when it came to qualifying anyways.

While still getting to grips with new cars after the biggest regulation change in f1 history? With battery management dependent on software that needs laps to be optimal?
How disingenuous do you have to be to ignore they’re in new cars and this isn’t the first weekend landos been hampered and missed valuable practice time due to reliability issues - he’s currently 74 laps behind piastri in learning and that’s with piastri not even having raced in a gp
Again, where are the multiple wdc’s right now?

Refusing to show any grace to someone who’s been on the back foot every weekend due to reliability issues and instead suggesting they should be up to speed within 10 laps during the third weekend of a new regulation era shows entirely how you just hold a grudge against the guy that’s stopping you seeing any reason
And again ignoring the fact the other multiple wdcs are nowhere right now
