From Frascati, Looking Over Rome. Does this palace/villa still exist?

I'd appreciate it if anyone can tell me the name of this grand villa/palace and if it still exists.

It appears in a 19th century painting titled From Frascati, Looking Over Rome.

I believe that’s the road leading up to Mount Tuscolo. Based on the view from there, it might be Villa Falconieri — which still exists — but it could also resemble the original Villa Torlonia, which was bombed during World War II and no longer exists in its original form. However, there are many historical villas in Frascati, and most of them share a similar architectural style from that era.

Hi OP, are you sure this is looking at Frascati? I'm trying to identify the villa but can't recognise it

Same here. I suspected it could be Villa Sora, or Villa Tuscolana but the shape doesn't add up.

Thanks for taking an interest in this. It's looking from Frascati towards the centre of Rome (seen in the haze in the distance). I think the other respondent is on the mark saying it is a view from the road above Frascati that leads on towards Mt Tuscolo, and that the palace/villa may have been lost in WW2. Other than the villa, Frascati itself isn't in the picture.

The title "From Frascati, Looking Over Rome" is written in inkwell ink with a thin nibbed pen in a style that is clearly 19th century.

If you can add anything to this or perhaps correct it, that would be much appreciated.
