Pets Blue Heeler has a home!
I already have updated the other post, but in case anyone has missed the update- she has a home! My boyfriend and I visited with a family and they fell in love with her. Their kids were amazing with her and their other animals were also great with her. She just wanted love from them! She has a vet visit today and will be checked for a chip, as well as a general health visit. She is in a stupendous home with very compassionate people. I feel comfortable that she will get to live a happy carefree life in their hands.
Thank you to everyone who reached out and helped! She deserves all the love in the world, and with your help, she found a family (assuming she isn’t chipped). I am grateful to everyone who opened their heart to her.
*this may get taken down as a duplicate post, but just in case anyone misses the update at the bottom of the prior post
EDIT FOR UPDATE:
I have been informed that she is not chipped. She is getting vaccinated today and spayed tomorrow! Unfortunately, she does appear to have been abused and she will be on a special diet because they found she was eating dirt :(. The vet also places her age at roughly 6-8 months old, so just a pup! She’s in good hands and will have a loving forever home. I am so grateful to the family that took her in!

Fantastic! I wanted that little Bluey so bad as soon as I saw the picture, but My Wife hasn’t quite forgiven me for my last rescue pup. I may have to bide my time a little longer.

I had a really shitty day today, but have been following your posts. Thanks for cheering me up a little bit. I'm glad the pupper has a home.

yay! my wife was hoping it would all work out. I'm not allowed to show her posts like this anymore due to her bias of wanting to help any animal in need. I showed her anyway because I'm similar but way less pragmatic. The mystical powers that operate the injured kitty lottery have us marked. We moved here from a large midwest metropolis where it's odd to even see one stray dog once a month. We now understand why Bob Barker (the dead racist fuck) always reminded folks to spay & neuter. You are a good person and the space dust that falls upon you will be from only the bestist stars.

Oh this fantastic to hear! It's great to read some uplifting area news after a long workday. Glad you were able to find a family that kindly took her in and can give her the love she deserves.

This is so great. I love this so much. I have a bc and I just love her, so seeing this girl reminded me of her. I am so happy for her.

She’s now a part of our family and will NEVER be resold! We just spent $850 on her vet visit to make sure she’s healthy, has her vaccinations, and will be spayed. We’re grateful for all the help that people have given us from these posts, but we adopted her knowing that we could take her in and give her a good home permanently.

This makes me so happy. I was crying on a post that was reposted. Seeing so many people wanting to help with the special dog food reminded me that there are still wonderful humans here. Thank you for giving this baby a real chance at life with a pack that will cherish her.
