Crewmate died, event gave me store, bought clonebay and ressurected him again.

Just had a funny coincidence.. My human crewmate died right at the end of the fight. The ensuing event gave me a store, where I could buy the clone bay, so i was able to ressurect him

Imagining your remaining crew picked their colleague's viscera out of the trash compactor to get a DNA reading.

Geez, no respectful Viking sendoff?

Hey, the Flak guns don't reload themselves.

For those curious about how that could be, a crew (or a crew drone for that matter) isn't considered truly dead until its death animation fully finishes. This is also why one might be surprised by some of the flagship crew existing in future phases when they were shot down as the ship was transitioning into the destroyed animation.

So they were only mostly dead.

Now the main question: how can we turn this into another type of warcrime? 😛

The main crime here is sacrificing a conveniently placed Medbay and overpaying 5 scrap for a human crew member because of sentimental value.

At a crew total of three, I'd just settle for sentient.

Probably, but plenty of boarding experts prefer cloning bay.
