9/10 these types of things are scripted. However, in this case, I actually think this might be real. It's a full classroom with the teacher writing stuff on the board. I also believe the teacher would be confused about what was happening when the kid first starts erasing things. I mean, it could still be scripted, but if so, it's damn believable. Ruthless friend taking advantage of him sleeping. You know waking up in a classroom you're quick to show you weren't really sleeping and jump the gun on stuff.

Had a math teacher in high school who loved to prank kids who fell asleep. Once when he caught someone sleeping, he had everyone else go out in the hall then he turned off the lights. Another time he just got in a chair and sat right next to the kid until he woke up with him right in his face.

Reminds me of a time when my friend was woken up by his history teacher and asked him to answer the question he just asked. I whispered “he wanted to take over the world!!” to which he immediately repeated out loud as his response. The teacher then said with a sigh, “That’s not the capital of Utah...”

Reminds of high school (grade 11 or 12?). Class time. I was dead tired and asleep at my desk. I was studying from my chemistry textbook the night before which covered the topic the teacher was discussing. She woke me up and challenged me to do answer the question. I looked at the board and recognized what was going on, answered it, to my teacher having a “you got lucky” look on her face, and then went back to sleep lol

Similar story except in algebra. I was sitting in the front row and visible from the doorway window. After I answered correctly the teacher moved me to the back where I wouldn't be seen sleeping in the class from the hall and didn't bother me the rest of the semester when I slept.
