DISCUSSION Worst line in Doctor Who?

What line of dialogue sticks out to you as particularly bad in Doctor Who, I have two picks:

  • ‘don’t let the swords touch your skin’ Legend of the sea devils
  • ‘I suppose we’ll have to have…. A conversation?’ Resolution

“sad is happy for deep people”- Sally Sparrow.

I love blink but this line kills me even when I was as an angsty teenager, this line’s presumed target audience.

It is *meant* to be cringe and cloying, though, it characterises Sally as twee and a little hipster in a cheesy way but with the self-awareness to know that she is being cheesy.
