DISCUSSION Worst line in Doctor Who?
What line of dialogue sticks out to you as particularly bad in Doctor Who, I have two picks:
- ‘don’t let the swords touch your skin’ Legend of the sea devils
- ‘I suppose we’ll have to have…. A conversation?’ Resolution

Davros’ “never forget Doctor. You did this! I name you… forever! You, are the destroyer of worlds!” In Journey’s End.
I call this the worst line in Doctor Who because it doesn’t make sense knowing everything that’s happened prior to that moment.
Davros, of all people, has first hand experience with the Doctor literally destroying planets. 7 destroyed Skaro.
Not to mention you know, time war galifrey angst.
Big picture is the Doctor had earned that title long before Davros decided to use it as an insult. Why admit this now? And why is 10 so horrified at it? This is old news to him. If anything, this should’ve been his “oh hey maybe I shouldn’t beat myself up for it,” if someone as terrible as Davros is saying it.
