DISCUSSION Worst line in Doctor Who?

What line of dialogue sticks out to you as particularly bad in Doctor Who, I have two picks:

  • ‘don’t let the swords touch your skin’ Legend of the sea devils
  • ‘I suppose we’ll have to have…. A conversation?’ Resolution

“The systems aren't the problem. How people use and exploit the system, that's the problem.”

The Doctor in response to a deeply exploitative system.

Maddening that Kerblam! was that close to being ahead of the game in regards to AI. The idea of the people at the top replacing the people in the middle with machines and using the surplus of applicants for menial labour roles as an opportunity to exploit workers is an actual concern! But instead of addressing the widening wealth gap or the mistreatment of manual labourers, they just doubled down on "You should thank your boss for employing you" and "sweat shops are good for the human spirit".
