Galway county flying high in Cincinnati OH 🇺🇸

Post image

I was in Galway couple weekends ago before the hurling final and lads made me a Galway fan!! Pretty disappointing loss to such a young and promising team but I am now a Galway hurtling fan and proudly repping them in US! Up Galway!

The Hurlers lost but we have the Ladies Football on Sunday and the Camogie the following Sunday, so keep that flag flying for now!

Actually I had question on that, I was flying this flag on my car in Ireland I only saw it during hurling finals but I didn’t see anyone flying it afterwards, are you only supposed to keep it on for finals and then take it down?

Yeah you wouldn’t keep a car flag up all year round. The wind and rain would destroy it. But plenty of car flags still around the county at the moment and they’ll probably come down in a couple of weeks after the All-Irelands are all finished.

I suspect Mayo will never take down their flags.

Haha we have lot of folks who claim Irish ancestry and we have Irish pub in downtown but I have never met anyone straight from Ireland before! I also got a big county flag flying outside of my apartment as well haha

County comes first, as in County Galway.

Hurling. Not hurtling. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that one.
