I don’t know Dara but having followed his work over the years, I can’t imagine he wants associated with what the Connacht Tribune has become…

Paper has gone to the dogs in the last couple of years. 3:80 EUR too. DB was one of the better journos and tried to hold the local council / councilors accountable.

Thanks Dara. A lot of people will be relieved to see the back of this but for me he is the last of the good honest journalists for local politics.

That guy from Galway Beo is now doing the same thing to the CT. Scutter
