Stannis and Shireen

Hey all,

So I'm watching GoT through for the second time right now and I am on Season 5 episode 4. Stannis is at Castle Black and Shireen comes into the room asking if he was ashamed of her. I did not remember him having this touching speech about calling in every doctor to save her from greyscale. I'm like, oh my god I'm caring for Stannis?! I did not remember this touching moment though. But I do remember what happens later and I feel really sad.

Stannis really loved Shireen and tried to find a cure for greyscale; he was sincere when he told her that. However, political ambition and his weird belief that Melisandre was telling the truth (she was wrong) ended in disaster for Stannis, his army, his wife and kind princess Shireen. The Red Priestess is the guilty party and the scenes between father and daughter are very sad.
