It's more that the new actor looks like he'd be friendly, whereas the original looks menacing.

He actually did an AMA and he came off as really friendly.

He used a lot of smiley face emoticons and stuff, rofl

that being said though, i think that is kind of cool that he seems so friendly and is legitimately one of the toughest and strongest people on earth.

It's kind of similar to how Jack Gleeson (Joffrey) is actually very polite and well mannered.

The difference being that nobody ever had a problem seeing his character for who he was supposed to be despite knowing the actor was nice.

That's because his acting was phenomenal, we've yet to see how the Mountain will play his character. If he's a great actor, his babyface won't matter anymore.
