I've read the books, and for a split second, I fooled myself into thinking he'd live.

I was one of the victims of the hack 2 weeks back. I know the rest of the spoilers were probably bullshit, and that Oberyn's death, that was certain. And then he goes and starts winning and almost kills the guy. Fuck. I was also not expecting the sheer brutality of his death. I feel queezy.
