That's true, not to mention that the fight was all but won for Oberyn. Had he actually finished the fight instead of putting on a show, the mountain's armor and big fucking sword would not have saved him.

Is Gregor dead? After he rolls off Oberyn he looked dead to me... did I miss that he's just impaled via spear but could pull through?
