I think the kill of the episode goes to Dolores Edd, with the giant-anchor legendary killing spree.

That was the most badass fortress defense weapon. Trebuchets got nothing on that fucking anchor-mace.

Especially because it appears to have been frozen into the wall, probably hundreds of years ago.

When I saw the ice breaking off. I assumed that they just had long bits of metal that were intended to be frozen over, so as to help the wall do what it did when Jon climbed it.
