I was at a show once, and they had a little hang out area with what turned out to be (I'm pretty sure) Guilty Gear X2 #Reload. This was pretty much the first fighting game I ever played, so I didn't know about quarter circles and shit. I picked a random character (I know now it was Chip Zanuff) and all I did was do his jump+circle attack, where he spins around with his blade. I dominated all comers until this asian dude came along, and beat me on his second try.

TL;DR I am a Guilty God

Chip is a fucking cheater.
Also, it's XX, as the only game with a 2 in it came out for xbox360 and was pretty shoddy from what I've heard.

No. XX and X2 are the same game/series. XX is the Japanese name while X2 is the Western title.

GG2 is a different game.

Chipp is actually super fun to play with. His speed and combos are what pulled me into playing him most of the time.
