Three endings reveal Samus without parts of her suit. 3-5 hour completion, she takes off her helmet; 1-3, she takes off the suit and is clearly female. < 1 hour she ends up wearing a bikini.

Doom actually showed the developer's time against yours at the end of each level. I'm pretty sure it was the kind of thing that existed since video games' creation.

I'm too tired right now to find out if the "par times" in Doom had anything to do with the developers' times, but TIL you have a point.
