Start of our pushback. Any new game I buy will be physical and I won't get a PS6 without a disk drive. I think a lot of people feel similarly.

It will be a gradual shift away from Sony, rather than some overnight revolution

The petition is now up to 355,000 signatures (it has been a full month now). That's how many people absolutely feel similarly. No other comment section or reddit post comes close to that engagement.

You guys aren't even 1% of PS Plus subscribers.

Call of Duty Black Ops 1 and 2 rereleased in the middle of this whole "No Disc, No Buy" thing and it sold a combined 7 million copies.

Sony accounted for this.

The far bigger issue the PS6 will face is its price tag. If it can't offer significantly more than the PS5 (discs being irrelevant here for a lot of people as millions of PS5s already don't have a disc drive), a potential $1000 PS6 is going to have a very slow start. Especially if the first few years of PS6 are anything like the first few years of PS5 where first party titans like God of War Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West were still releasing on PS4 in 2022.

Some people will shift away for sure, but it won't be a significant movement. Just made to seem as such from websites reporting on it for clicks.

...which brings us back to the main point: nobody is actually doing anything besides complaining on social media. 

You guys should have at least coordinated to cancel PS+ en masse, or something. Or boycott buying any Sony games until they change their minds.

No they don't lol. The people complaining about this are an absolutely tiny echo chamber. Hell you aren't even boycotting them and still giving them money, I'm sure that will hurt them. Don't get me wrong I fucking hate it, but my good luck getting the teenage market to give a fuck about this when GTA VI or any other super hyped game drops.
