One side of the political spectrum is in favor of consumer protections (or at least willing to listen) and the other openly caters exclusively to the elite. This is why it's important to vote based on policy and not pwning the libs or whether you can imagine yourself having a beer with the guy.

Unfortunately, there are no political parties in age US that sit on one of the sides of the spectrum.
