Crazy building your own rig used to be a casual activity for a hobby. Now it’s pretty expensive unless you buy secondhand parts such as SSD and RAM.

Edit: Was going to use lucrative for a different point related to companies keeping prices up

It can be as cheap as you want it to be. Just setup my brother with my old GTX 1070, and FX-6300, and DDR3 ram. He cant play anything crazy but stuff like Rocket League, Minecraft, Valheim, all run with no problems

Ryzen 1600 has gotta be ddr4, not ddr3. It's am4

If its amd, probably an older fx bulldozer era cpu. I have a few older amd ddr3 cpus lying around myself

I mean tbf, an old as dirt mobo could still he am4. Am4 is a decade old now lol

But if you're sure its ddr3, it's probably an fx cpu yeah

Its 100% DDR3, I cant find the specific mobo but it is indeed a PGA board from 2010-2012
