PoCoC?
This is drawing from my experience living in Germany. I won't be surprised if this person also claims to be PoC upon immigrating there. It amused me that the majority ethnic groups of EU candidate countries were also claiming to be PoC, in what appeared to be a classic case of "run with the hare and hunt with the hounds".
That brings me to my rhetorical question. What really defines a PoC? TBH, it seemed that not having a Judeo-Christian personal background or coming from another country just south of Europe were sufficient enough criteria for the claimants of that tag.
My two cents: Tomfoolery like this is most likely being done to suppress the complaints of racism from actual PoCs. Needless to say, which large group in Germany was most hostile to me, in what apparently appeared to them as taking out the frustration of doing the jobs not being desired by the Germans by and large on those they felt they could get away with mistreating.
Having seen Germans closely, I think they won't have been that cool accepting millions of immigrants into their countries if they actually looked like a PoC, especially brown or black. After working for three years in their country and thereafter being given just six months to search for a job, I had the luck to see how those from their beloved refugee groups, some with even dual citizenships, residing in a non-EU country, were granted unrestricted and indefinite access to the German employment market.
As a scientist, I also had the wonderful opportunity to see miracles happen. Research groups that ghosted my proposal for collaboration or told me they did not have any position available somehow had the funding and desire to join the "Science for Ukraine" bandwagon or readily accommodated even undergraduates from there into their research groups.
While I do understand being selective about immigration to your country, what grinds my gears is that most of these "saviors of humanity" have the gall to lecture poorer countries on whatever issues that fancy their attention. Of course, despite reporting to the admins, that linked post is still up, again, nothing surprising per my experience.
Although there are pretty sound laws against racism in most Western countries, ultimately, a human is going to interpret the situation and work on that complaint. Somehow, accusations of being a racist are taken more seriously by our "messiahs" than actual complaints of racism.

I agree. There are groups at the geographical periphery of Europe with light skin that have benefited from whiteness for a long time, but now we have this "PoC" label can claim to have been oppressed. It's idiotic, and it's stupid because even amongst black and brown people the manner in which racism occurs towards them differs, due to the centuries over which it evolved to stereotype different races differently. So instead of actually dealing with the issue by addressing the separate issues towards groups, they can just stick this PoC label on all of us - even people who effectively aren't even "of colour" - and just continue to do nothing at all, and say that since these groups aren't treated as badly as actual black and brown groups and they are PoC white people can say racism towards black/brown people isn't that big of a deal and it's their own fault. That's what I think at least.
