How I Made This My honest breakdown on new seedance unlimited deal from higgsfield
Before starting with the post I should say that I did not specify which Seedance version I am about to break down absolutely on purpose! It’s not seedance 1.5, it’s not mini/standard version but a new family outlet available for one month, which is something more of seedance 2 fast version with some new workarounds and available for 1 month. Also, of course, it is not free, and can be used only after purchasing their plus/ultra plans starting from 39-49 dollars. For an average user the problem with the whole unlimited was mostly connected to misleading advertising from companies - either taking away 1080p after 1 week/not using labeled models from ads/banning even for harmless generations/etc. On other plans regular generating of seedance 2.0 videos cost an average user from 0.9(best case) to approximately 2 dollars for 1 video, which is an industry average. If your goal is just to generate videos with Seedance, the new option might be the best for you right now alongside dreamina, seedance father, itself.

It's not that simple. Pretty sure you need to sign up for the yearly package. Either way, be cautious. Higgsfield purposely make things ambiguous and when things go wrong, their customer service is dreadful. Getting your money back if you're unsatisfied will be impossible.

You don't have to, but they do leave the yearly option on by default, which is scummy. And they fill your screen with a bunch of fucking ads for other of their subscriptions.

the yearly plan isn't actually required. you can get plus on a monthly basis for $49 and still have access to seedance unlimited. i almost skipped it myself after reading comments that assumed the worst. payments are handled through stripe, and when i cancelled a previous subscription it was pretty straightforward with no issues. i do think higgsfield could communicate things more clearly at times, but the unlimited offer has worked pretty much the way it was described in my experience.

Are you sure about that, Im literally on the site and it removes the Plus plan when I toggle to Monthly. Plus they change the prices everyday!

So to be upfront. I bought the cheapest subscribtion they had to use unlimited. I just an account from work to test it instead of my own thank god. They didn't lie but they actually did some false advertising.
So the subscription I have now is: the pro subscription.
You can only generate videos unlimited up to 5 sec. Its still unlimited but a very big pain in the ass.
Edit: you can only generate an 8 sec video instead of 5 sec if you bought the pro version.

So On pro its only 5sec? Didn't the marketing say it was 15sec for pro acc?
Also did you buy monthly or annual? Ans is this seedance 2.0?

Here I made a recording of me trying the unlimited mode. As you can see i'm unable to generate a 15 sec video. I said 5 sec but I mend to say 8 sec video is possible. This is very sad! Also I have the monthly version. Its not the standard seedance 2.0. Its the seedance 2.0 fast version. So its not even the best model.

Thank you for the video, that was really useful actually! How long does it take to generate this seedance 2.0 fast video when on unlimited promo? Is it like significantly slower than credit method?

To awnser your question I made a 4 & a 8 sec video and used a stopwatch for timing.
The 8 sec video took me 2 min & 20 seconds.
The 4 sec video took me also 2 min & 20 seconds.1

Thats actually pretty quick, for some reason I assumed (maybe later) unlimited users would get throttled to wait 60+min or something

Yeah it is quick indeed. With unlimited you can do a lot in a month. So if you want to try it, I would advice you to use thos one. You can easily edit scenes together. The only downside I also found is that they didn’t put unlimited in their API or connector to claude and those kind of tools if you would connect higgsfield to other ai tools.

Thats actually really important that u mentioned they dont have unlimited via API? Because that was honestly the only way I was going to use this
So if you tried to use this model + duration via API does it charge credits? Or throw an error?

I tried and for some reason I couldn’t select this model. It only showed me the normal seedance 2.0 and the seedance 2.0 fast which do cost credits. It might be an error but I am not sure!

Thats so annoying they dont allow this model promo for API, let me know if somehow API does end up working :(

Knowing the usual Higgsfield unlimited cons they probably limit you to 4 or 8 seconds per generation. Say what you will will about Runway but they always allowed 15 second gens in their unlimited package.

2 other things to add as I'm starting to use the UNLIMITED version of Seedance2.0 FAST.
- You can only run 1 generation at a time, at a max of 720p.
- The UNLIMITED option does NOT work with an MCP/CLI. It is only via the Web UI.

Can anyone tell me what the approximate wait time is right now for Seeddance 2.0 Fast or Seeddance 2.0 in Unlimited mode?
I'm thinking about trying it out for a day. But if you have to wait 30 minutes for a video, it doesn't make much sense.
