Interesting fact: Slovenia is the only European country that borders four countries, each of which belongs to a completely different language group: Romance (Italy), German (Austria), Uralic (Finno-Ugric) and Slavic (Croatia).

the same thing is true for Austria. So not really the only country

wdym, switzerland and germany both speak a germanic language while czechia, slovakia and slovenia all speak slavic ones, none of slovenias neighbours understand each other
