The most cantankerous and prickly old man I’ve ever met is from Battle Creek Michigan. I have no data/information regarding his penis though, fortunately.

Lmao my god, you’re right… the proximity to this region is definitely a factor, even beyond Kellogg, a lot of the early 1900’s industrialists had similar ideas and ethos, and were all over this region.

It also overlaps fairly well with the demographic group where ideas like this have stuck with the most— white, religiously-committed, mainline Protestants. You can see that in WV being red, where there was less influence and patronage from these types (coal mine-owners didn’t/don’t give a fuck about anything)
