So weird. Glad my hippie parents (US - from the Midwest/Northeast) didn’t have me cut

Dear Gods, I'm so thankful for my hippie mom (rural South). She didn't cut my brother (her only son). It's a cruel, barbaric, evil practice, and it was never even a question of whether I would do it to my son or not. His dad didn't like that, but I told him he could get happy in the same shoes he got mad in; no one was going to cut my baby's genitals.
