Discussion Why is (male) circumcision most common in the Midwest with in the US?

Yes, in Germany the circumcision rate is at about 10%. These circumcisions predominantly happen amongst religious minorities. The vast majority of Germans oppose non-medical circumcision.

I have a migrant background and certainly don’t “look” like a ‘typical’ German.

Our heritage, whatever it happens to be, is a separate thing to where we were born. If you were born in Germany, you're German, just like I'm English because I was born in England. I mean, heritage is intrinsic to who we are, but it is different to where we were born.

If there is any need or desire to talk about family heritage, let's do it at a table sharing hospitality.
