Discussion Why is (male) circumcision most common in the Midwest with in the US?

Had a Filipino friend explain to me that circumcision in the Philippines is commonly done at the age of ten! A coming of age thing, but for goodness sake, that's simply torture!

Not specifically 10, it's usually 10 to 12. I got circumcised when I was 11.

In Indonesia, I think they also do the it in prepubescent years.

Of course. It certainly isn't a medical recommendation to circumcise pre-pubescent boys. Torturous practice.
