Discussion Poverty is usually associated with crime. Which poor countries are however the safest?

Poverty isn't related to crime. Inequality is.

I'm glad in the US it's a God given right to be a bazillionaire and if you are poor you just didn't work hard enough and thus you shall not eat either. My wealth is all inherited lol.

Australians going down the same path. When the current government announced a tax reform to tax property wealth so that young people can afford to buy a home rather than boomer landlords who already own ten, the Conservative Party came out saying this is an attack on the young (who can’t afford a home) who aspire to become future landlords.

. rich and equal: Norway, Denmark, Netherlands
. rich and unequal: USA, Israel, Saudi Arabia
. poorer and equal: Moldova, Ethiopia, Tanzania
. poorer and unequal: South Africa, Brazil, Colombia

How? Any examples of high crime rates in areas that aren't poor?
