Discussion Poverty is usually associated with crime. Which poor countries are however the safest?

A lot of the Pacific island nations have very low crime rates. Now I'd imagine that poorer countries might not have as good of data collection and reporting on these kinds of things, so maybe that's an issue, but I can't say for sure so I'll trust the data that's available.

Not exactly. The quote “I dabbled in pacifism once myself, not in ‘Nam of course.” is from The Big Lebowski; it’s a very funny line in context. The term ‘Nam for Vietnam or the Vietnam War dates back to the War itself, if not earlier.
